" When Hubaba had enclosed the pebble [in her pocket], the throne returned to its place on the ground. Then He said to her: "O Hubaba, did you see your pebble?" She said: "O my Lord, I saw Your power." He said to her: "O Hubaba, in it [the pebble] there are descriptions of what you saw, greater, larger, and more numerous; had that been revealed to you, what you witnessed would have seemed small to you. So continue the gratitude, and you shall deserve the increase, as I have stated:{If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.} 1 " Hubaba said: "And I have no power for that except by Your granting me success and Your bestowal of favor upon me." He said: "O Hubaba, which is greater: what you witnessed of your pebble, or what you witnessed of the ring?" She said: "O my Lord, what small power of Your power is not great? And what sign of Your signs is not magnificent? Indeed, I do not see the world in its state of expansion and widening, and I do not see in the greatness of all that except my Lord sitting upon His throne, and that light fluctuating between the heaven and the earth."

So He removed His ring from His finger, placed it upon His finger, and said: "O Hubaba, which is larger in the realization of your sight and the verification of your intellect: My ring or your pebble?" Hubaba was bewildered and did not answer with anything. He said: "Speak, O Hubaba, for you are not tasked with the knowledge of what you do not know, nor the description of what you do not perceive."
