And another aspect: indeed, (How [Kayfa]) in the calculation of Great and Small Abjad [Al-Jummal] is like the calculation of Ali; thus Abu Shu’ayb Muhammad ibn Nusayr, peace be upon him, showed them that worship is for the Meaning, Ali, peace be upon him. And worship is not except for the One, Eternal Meaning, the God of the hereafter and the Lord of Lords, exalted above all similarities.
[23] And it was narrated by Al-Husayn ibn Hamdan al-Khasibi, may Allah sanctify his station, he said: Ibn Muhammad al-Farisi narrated to me, he said: I said to our Lord Abu Shu’ayb, peace be upon him: O my Lord, for whom is the worship?
He said: For the one to whom Moses said during the intimate discourse: {And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed. Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god but I, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.} 1 , and this is the speech of the Meaning to His Name as an identification to the world that He is the Worshipped Lord.
