So join me with the people of Your gnosis and the treasurers of Your hidden wisdom—those who manifest Your authority and that which You have granted us of Your power. There is not one of us but has a known station; and indeed, we are those who stand in rows, and indeed, we are those who exalt [You]. We are Your victorious party and Your supreme soldiers. You are One forever, Your Name is One forever, Your Gate is a Singularity forever, Your Orphans are five forever, Your Chiefs are twelve forever, Your Nobles are twenty-eight forever; and the Specialists, the Sincere, and the Tested complete the five thousand. Thus, we and they are the [spiritual] persons for all that You have created: of a built heaven, an outspread earth, sun, moon, night, day, a rotating firmament, and air.and clouds, winds, rain, and praised lands, and poured water, and mustered soldiers, and pleasing structures, and praised plants, and stored fragrance, and what resembles that. And You made Your opposites and their followers from the inverted creation to be the persons of every darkness and tyranny among all creation, and what resembles them of ugliness, filth, turbidity, murkiness, impurities, and defilements. You decreed all things as houses and minerals, like for like and equal for equal, by the duration of Your kingdom and the permanence of Your creation; thus, [there is] the fortunate and the wretched until the White Return (al-Raj'a al-Bayda'), the Radiant Cycle (al-Karra al-Zahra'), the uncovering of the veil, and the clearing of blindness.
