You are One in Your Oneness, Pre-existent in Your Eternity, Eternal and Absolute; the Creator while nothing was with You. Then You originated the 'Thing,' and it is Your Name, Your Veil, Your Warning Self, Your Watching Eye, Your Hearing Ear, Your Speaking Tongue, the Side (al-Janb), and the Flank. It is the Throne which You established over all Your creation and Your kingdom; You cast unto it its key and granted it possession of its reins. You originated it by Your power and directed it by Your wisdom. Thus, You are the Namer and it is the Name; You are the Sender and it is the Messenger; You are the Shaper (al-Mukawwin) and it is the Space (al-Makan). You are above it and it is beneath You.

Then [the Name] created me as You created it, and manifested me as You manifested it, and commanded me as You commanded it; so You were to it as it is to You. There is no god besides You and no Creator other than You. You manifested [the Name] through the Message (al-Risala), and You appeared through the Testament (al-Wasiyya). [The Name] manifested me through the Gatehood (al-Babiyya) and commanded me; thus I established the Orphans (al-Aytam), appointed the Chiefs (al-Nuqaba'), selected the Nobles (al-Nujaba'), designated the Specialists (al-Mukhtassin), chose the Sincere (al-Mukhlisin), and tested the Tested (al-Mumtahanin).
