The sum and the detail: is that there was no one who would invoke besides Allah except those who followed the famous tyrants—and they are the First, the Second, and the Third—whom they followed instead of our Master, the Commander of the Faithful—may his might be strengthened. And their followers and their partisans did not know with certain knowledge in the worldly abode that they, in their following of them, were not correct, nor that they were mistaken; nor did they know that our Master, the Commander of the Faithful—may his might be strengthened—is the Manifest Truth. So when the veil is removed from their eyes: they shall recognize Him by the Form through which they used to recognize Him in this abode, and they did not recognize Him and become certain of Him except at the time of confession.

The book is completed by the praise of our Master, the Commander of the Bees—Exalted is His mention.
