Yet, there is no speech except that which issues from a Form.

Because of His prior knowledge that He would manifest among them as them—neither by way of homogeneity (mujānasa) nor by way of comparison (muqāyasa)—He, in His Essence, does not change, nor is He replaced, nor does He move from state to state. He was never a restricted form, nor did He become embodied in a physical body [in a limited sense], and His 'quiddity' (māhiyya) never occurred to any mind; He is the High, the Exalted. Rather, His manifestation and His hiddenness are as Allah—Exalted is He—said, and His word is the Truth:{ 'And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them but He' } 1

So from His revealed speech in the Noble Qur’an in Surah Al-Baqarah: {And when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of Allah is upon the disbelievers } 2 . And His saying, Exalted is He, in this Surah: {Say, "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is for you alone, to the exclusion of the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful"} 3 .
