Conclusion of the Book

"That which was revealed in the Heavenly Books and the Scrolls is from the speech of the Ancient Eternity, the High, the Great. We shall cite what we promised to provide from the verses of the Mighty Book [the Quran] and make them the conclusion of this chapter, by the grace of the High, the Bestower. First, we shall establish a principle recognized by the masses—and Allah is the Granter of success in all matters—so we say, and with Allah is our success:

Indeed, the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, the Great Quran, and the Scrolls that were revealed from the time of Adam and thereafter are [all] the speech of the Ancient Eternity, the High, the Great. This is the most sublime evidence and the clearest path toward [proving] the existence of the Meaning (Ma‘nā) and His manifestation in a witnessed form.

[It proves] that He—Glory be to Him and Exalted is He—desired to inform the worlds that He manifests to every species in its own kind and according to its nature. For everything besides the Meaning is 'originated' (mukawwan), and everything that is originated and falls under 'origination' is necessarily 'fashioned' (musawwar), and everything fashioned is a 'form' (sūra) that is encompassed [by boundaries].

Therefore, we say: For this reason, He revealed what He revealed of the Scrolls and the Four Books, and He emphasized that they are His speech.
