This aligns with the words of our Sheikh: 'If the Meaning (Ma‘nā) [Ali] desires to manifest in a form other than the witnessed one, He removes the Hasan [the physical beauty/form] and appears in a form like unto it.'

The 'Hasan,' as we have clarified, is the name for the manifest aspect of the Name, which is the body. Once it is established and proven that the manifest aspect of the Name vanishes when the Light of the Essence rises upon it and manifests to it, then the proof and evidence stand. Whoever's thoughts wander to anything other than what we have settled has strayed into far-reaching error.

Among the choice Gnostic scholars who follow the path of the Masters from the Sheikhs and the righteous predecessors is Sābūr al-Jalabī, may Allah be pleased with him. His saying—may Allah’s mercy be upon him—is:

'Whoever speaks a word other than that of al-Jallī,

Upon him be the curse from all of me.

I have placed my trust in him, and I have not spoken

Except that which suffices in weight and majesty.

He spoke the truth, and never ceased

To narrate it, and with its like, he dictates [the truth].'"
