"He refers by this to al-Jallī—may Allah be pleased with him—for he is the role model of this 'Saved Sect' (al-Ṭā’ifa al-Nājiya) after his Sheikh. Without dispute, for the believers who have reached [perfection] in knowledge, there is a clear path for every guided believer. As for the second verse: 'And the light of this one and that one shall never vanish.'
This hemistich allows for two interpretations: First: That he intended by 'this one and that one' al-Jallī and his Sheikh al-Khaṣībī. By saying 'shall never vanish,' he means their knowledge which they transmitted from the Masters (al-Muwālī)—may His power be exalted; it is a light that never fades.
Second: That he intended by this to return the discourse to the Meaning (al-Ma‘nā) and the Name (al-Ism) previously mentioned in his words:
'The Essence is not partitioned, if you truly know it;
Rather, what you have beheld is the Object of Worship forever.'
'Likewise, the Veil is one single Name eternally,
Even if he is called by names beyond count.'
