He is the Ancient, the Manifestor of His Light forever

To the servants, without father and without son.

The Essence is not partitioned, if you truly know it;

Rather, what you have beheld [manifestly] is the [only] Object of Worship forever.

Likewise, the Veil [Muhammad] is one single Name eternally,

Even if he is called by many names beyond count.

And the Gate [Salman] is also one single Gate eternally,

Even if he is called by names beyond the measure of time.

So return to the words of our Sublime Master [Ali],

And you shall attain guidance without toil or misery.

He [the Gate] is the path to the Great Allah, just as

Al-Husayn ibn Hamdan [al-Khasibi] was the 'Middle Path' (al-Muqtasad).

The light of this one and that one [the Name and Gate] shall never vanish,

If you are a person of intellect, seeking righteousness.

Then the Wasī (Successor/Ali), who gathered all sciences,

Just as he gathered courage and proximity to be the Criterion.
