We have presented what we mentioned previously as part of our goal to cite everyone from the people of Monotheism whose merit has reached us.

Among them was the noble, esteemed, and high-born Emir Abu al-Fath Muhammad, titled 'Ismat al-Dawla. He was a man of asceticism, worship, piety, and devotion. He authored many works on Monotheism and possessed a sweet disposition. Among his compositions is the famous epistle titled: The Method of Knowledge and Clarification and the Delight of Hearing and Sight (Manhaj al-'Ilm wa al-Bayan).

This epistle is well-known among us in the Coastal regions and the Mountains [of Syria/Lebanon]. It is referred to as 'The Egyptian' (al-Misriyya) and is also known as 'The Ismatite' (al-'Ismiyya).

His father, the Emir Mu'izz al-Dawla, was a virtuous man, a skilled philosopher, and he possessed the Book of Jafr (the science of divination and hidden knowledge).

He revealed magnificent things and serious sciences from that book, bringing to light many hidden sciences that were concealed from this world, extracting them all from the Jafr. He is also the one who built Cairo, and by him it shall be known until the end of time. He knew Monotheism and mastered its framework; he was virtuous, intelligent, and sharp-minded."
