[Closing:] Upon this the system has proceeded since antiquity,

And finally [concluded] with that same [holy] structure.

So hear what I say, O people of Monotheism!

From the composition of these jewel-like verses.

All that al-Khabbāz [the author] has affirmed

Is the truth, with an intention free from grief.

It is what he narrated from his Sheikhs, and it is

That which he brought forth through clear transmission.

Through that which the Deity bestowed upon him

Openly, of the "Alawite Wisdom."

"What was narrated on the authority of Abu Shu’ayb,

and all the sublime sciences he brought forth;

everything affirmed through him

is a 'Jundubite' transmission [referring to Abu al-Dharr al-Jundubi].

I am a servant to a group that truly knows Allah,

Purely detached from all that is impossible.

Praising Ibn Muljam—and with my very soul,

I would ransom the 'Muljamite' party.
