In the era of Adam, he was "Adam,"

Then he manifested in his creation as "Brahma."

He revealed himself by the command of his Creator in

Jacob, the Lord of the "Alawite Stations."

Thus it continued, until he was called "Ibn Abi Kabsha,"

Along with the "Talibite" lineage [Ali/the Imams].

He is Allah, First and Last;

To Him be praise, morning and evening.

I see his Lord, the Most High, as a covering;

The Caller [the Gate] under His essential Veils.

It [the chain of Gates] ended in Abu Shu’ayb (Muhammad ibn Nusayr);

So, "Glory!" be to that ultimate, exemplary conclusion.

He [the Gate] was present in every manifestation,

Remaining constant, never deviating from his "Gateness."

They called him by the name Gabriel among the names,

And that is not a rank that remains hidden.
