Then they said: "The Illuminating One is [merely] Capable,"

While Ali is [only] the light of the Illuminator, and a servant!

They turned Him into a "Name" that points toward the Unseen,

For whoever desires to seek the [Absolute] Unseen.

A "Veil" for that absent, internal [Essence],

And for the one seeking increase and support.

And a "Force" for Him, while He [the Essence] remains hidden and distinct;

My Lord is exalted above every likeness or peer!

The blind, ignorant one thought this to be true,

Persisting in his delusion, deceived by his error.

Denying what he sees clearly with his eyes,

And showing even greater denial for what he cannot see.

Reflect with the eye of your intellect and look:

Do you see any righteousness in worshipping the "Unseen" [alone]?

It is nothing but the worship of the Manifest-Internal [One];

The Lord of Lords is Haydar (Ali), the Unique.
