"According to them, he is considered one of the Extremists (al-Ghulat); meaning that he elevates the Prince of the Faithful [Ali]—may His power be magnified—above the status that Allah has ordained for Him, which is the rank of the Gate (al-Bābiyya). This is the [fundamental] difference between us and- these two sects. The Delegationists (al-Mufawwiḍa) also call us 'Extremists' (al-Ghulāt) because we have raised the Prince of the Believers (may His power be exalted) above what they attribute to him. His station, in their view, is the station of 'Veilship' (al-Ḥijābiyya) and 'Nameship' (al-Ismiyya).
We, however, exalt him and testify to his Eternal Divinity (al-Ilāhiyya al-Sarmadiyya) and affirm his 'Meaningness' (al-Ma'nawiyya); that there is no god for the worlds other than Him, and no object of worship for us or for them except Him.
I have provided for you, O successful brother, in this chapter, the utmost of what is needed. Allah, by His generosity, grants success to the believers who are righteous in their deeds, words, and actions; He is the Most Generous and Bountiful.
