For the [spiritual] retreats, there are ultimate goals,

Whose ranks reach the furthest reaches of eternity.

Like the towers of the stars, within which

Their planets journey in perpetual duration.

And what makes you know what the Gates are?

Tell me! For those are among the magnificent Stations.

Branches whose roots are Mīm [Muhammad] and 'Ayn [Ali]

, Possessing a Sun in the Tihami region [Mecca/Hejaz].

It is the precious Soul and the firmly established

Location; its station is in the highest of ranks.

Through it, the Prayer is established, as is the giving

Of Alms, and through it, the paths of Fasting are guided.

What clarification could be clearer to those of luminous intellects and pure minds than this statement regarding the defect of this belief? It is a testament to the conjecture and opinion that leads to corruption. For he has explicitly stated—through his own words—the corruption of his creed in the eyes of the Monotheists (al-Muwaḥḥidūn), though not in the eyes of his 'satans' who imitate [the truth]."
