And Asaph, the Ancient—not the limited one.

And the heir, Simeon [Peter]—not the inherited one—

While the seventh of the Domes is 'Haydarite' [Ali].

By my life! They are One to those who recognize

The religion of the Deity and turn away from the False Idol (al-Jibt).

Who unify the Ancient Meaning and drink deeply

Of the 'flowing water,' and stand at the Gate.

Firmly believing in the 'Sīn' [Salman] as his Master (Wali).

Were it not for the visible form [the physical body],

Which we behold just like the rest of creation;

Yet it [the form] confirms the cause [of faith],

As an act of justice, for such was His Will.

He does what He wills, and to Him belongs the [Sovereign] Will.

He is not [contained] in His entirety [within the form]—Exalted is He

And far removed from resemblance or likeness.

By no means! Yet the Creator has no Majestic presence other than it [the form].
