How can the Gnosis of the Essence be established

For one who is not present? But through sight [of the manifestation],

It has become valid for us, both as a Name and as a Meaning.

O you who seeks from me the path of righteousness:

Through the intellect and the Quran, it has been proven to me,

That Ali is the Pre-Eternal, the Unique.

He knows the goodness of my conduct and my intent,

For I am, in religion, an Anza'i (follower of Ali).

Glory be to Him, Exalted is the Ancient, the Eternal,

The Originator of existence, the Cause of all causes.

O Lord, bear witness that I am a devoted servant

To the Family of Yasin (Muhammad) and the Family of Salsal (Salman),

Affirming the Return (Raj'a) to the Creator.

I bear witness that when Allah originated

From His own Essence a hidden Light and brought it forth,
