How then can you testify for al-Khasibi that he looks with the Light of Allah and knows the believer from the disbeliever, and then testify against him that he imparted the Monotheism to a blameworthy man from the people of the Fire, while his enemy—al-Awni—is in Paradise?'

He was dumbfounded and stared at the ground for a long time, unable to return an answer. I said to him: 'O Sheikh, know—may Allah guide you—that the "Sheikhs" who testified that Rastibash (may Allah be pleased with him) is in the Fire and al-Awni (may Allah curse him) is in Paradise are the Sheikhs of Misguidance and the source of ignorance. They are the Sheikhs of the Delegationists (al-Mufawwida), such as Isma'il ibn Khallad and those who follow his words. May Allah curse them with a great curse, cast them into the Blazing Fire, destroy them utterly, and curse whoever follows their path—those who have no salvation and no faith.'

Indeed, al-Awni said in his poem that which bears witness against him regarding the Delegation (al-Tafwid) we have attributed to him, which is:

"It is forbidden for me to take Haydar (Ali) as a Master, Unless I profess allegiance (Tawalli) and disavowal (Bara').
