Then, he mentioned the Nine Groups of Corrupters whom Allah the Exalted described in His Manifest Book, saying: 'And there were in the city nine groups who caused corruption in the land and did not reform' (Surah Al-Naml: 48). He described them as they deserve, warned against them, and commanded disavowal (Bara'a) of them, their factions, their followers, and their 'Satans' throughout the cycles (Akwar) and eras (Adwar)."
"Then he [Ibn al-Hajjaj] moved to defining the status of a believer’s brother, and the duties a believer owes him: kindness, bringing joy to his heart, supporting him, aiding him, and overlooking his lapses.
Furthermore, he addressed the sanctity of the believers and warned that looking upon them with suspicion is incompatible with firm faith. He emphasized that the Gnosis (Ma'rifa) of the Master of each era and time is not truly established for a believer until he fulfills all the obligations Allah has mandated toward his brother in faith.
If he fails in this or neglects any part of it, Allah will call him to account on the Day of Resurrection. If he is unable to settle what remains of his brother's rights, he will be cast into the Fire for abandoning those rights.
