Rather, Glory be to Him, He cannot be envisioned, imagined, partitioned, divided, or split. He is not limited, He does not transform, He does not cease to be, and no place or time is ever devoid of Him past times, nor any age of the current ages. He does not begin [anew] through the stretches of the cycles (akwar), eras (adwar), and times. He causes things to cease but does not cease; He causes transformation but does not transform. He shows the eyes of His subjects whatever He wills, so that the people of every rank see Him according to their capacity and in accordance with their worthiness and disposition. Thus, no two individuals are equal in their vision of Him, yet He is [one in] His Essence.
The reality of belief is that 'none knows what He is except He Himself.' Existence is merely His indication, His mercy, and His overwhelming proof. Such testimonies have already been provided as would illuminate the path for every insightful Gnostic.
The truth of the discourse in this chapter and its verification is that Existent Being is of two types:
That which is Existent from the perspective of its own Essence—not from the perspective of the 'people of purity' or the 'people of turbidity'—and is absolutely incapable of non-existence ('adam).
