Relieve me from the pursuit of evil, for I

Rejoice in my heart [at being saved] from the requests of the base.

Make my only need be for You, for You are enough for me,

O Remover of great sorrows!

Veil me (protect me), grant me health, and pardon me; Uncover my distress and heal my ailments.

Grant me the provision of a visit and proximity

To the [Stations of] Ascension before the time of death.

Heal my chest and purify my fate,

For I have sought shelter and refuge in the Noble Names.

O Ali, the Most High! O Divider of the Heavens

And the Fire on the Day of Resurrection!

Allot to me, by Your grace, a generous portion,

And leave me not deprived of Your bounties.

And begin with the Sheikh—my goal, my means,

My path, my father, and my support.
