If it is indispensable to present what has been issued by the leading master Sheikhs from the 'World of Affirmation and Response' after those we have already mentioned, then we must provide a portion of what was spoken by our Sheikh and role model, Abu Abd Allah al-Husayn ibn Hamdan al-Khasibi—may Allah grant him His pleasure and reward him on our behalf with the best of rewards."

Since what he (al-Khasibi) composed is explicit Monotheism (Tawhid) without ambiguity, and pure, abstract devotion to the High, Most High (Ali). We shall mention from his poetry only what is relevant to our current subject, as we have not included his odes in their entirety, for his poetry is already recorded and written in [specialized] books.

Among his sayings (may Allah be pleased with him), from an ode of his that begins: 'The Gate of Guidance is a single, eternal Gate,' are these verses:

The First, the Ancient—the Divinity (Lahut) is His inward essence

A Mystery (Ghayb); while His outward is guidance for the guided.
