For us, in every cycle, there is a return
Sometimes among the Arabs, and at times among the foreigners
May Allah have mercy on a man for whom is ordained
A tradition among the Folk that is not found among the nations
"[40] And by al-Sayyid al-Himyari—who is Muhammad ibn Isma'il, may Allah sanctify him—the poet of the Household (Ahl al-Bayt). He was originally a Kaysanite, believing in the Imamate of Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyya.
It is told that one day, al-Sayyid al-Himyari had a flask filled with wine (nabidh) hidden in his sleeve. A man from the 'Opponents' (al-Mukhalifin) noticed this and went to our Lord al-Sadiq—Glorified be His Might—and said to him: 'O our Master, do your followers drink wine?' The Imam replied: 'No.' The opponent then said: 'But this man, al-Sayyid al-Himyari, has a flask full of wine in his sleeve.'
Our Lord al-Sadiq—Glorified be His Might—turned to him and asked: 'What is in your sleeve, O Himyari?' He replied: 'A flask containing milk.' The Imam said: 'Bring it out, for it is indeed milk.' When al-Himyari pulled it out, it was found to be milk. The opponent who had slandered him was shamed.
When al-Himyari returned to his house, he looked at the flask and found that it was wine again.
