Among this is the saying of al-Sayyid Abu al-Ghusn Juha (his name is Thabit ibn al-Dukayn), who is one of the Five Orphans (al-Aytam al-Khamsa) in the manifestation of our Lord Ali ibn Musa al-Rida—Glorified be His Might—as narrated by Sheikh Abu al-Husayn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jali:"

The ultimate goal of the seeker and the sought

Is the love of Ali ibn Abi Talib

Whoever desires his Creator, let him approach

The Gate of Ali, the Seeker, the Victorious

So that when he beholds Him, let him speak

A word of truth, not as a liar

Glory be to Him who manifested His humanity

And veiled for us His piercing Divinity

And who appeared openly within His creation

In the form of one who eats and drinks

Until His creation witnessed Him clearly

Within the lines of the brow and the eyebrows
