Then [there appeared] his horse al-Sarhan, his camel al-Adba, his mule al-Duldul, and his donkey Ya'fur. Then He brought forth his excellent armor, his turban al-Sahab, his cloak, his ring, his staff, and his sword. Then, by Allah, there appeared from the trunk Fadak and al-Awali with its palm trees, its soil, and all the lands of al-Aliya in their entirety—with its enclosures, borders, stones, prayer niche (mihrab), and chamber—as well as Sana'a, Hajar, and the surrounding wilderness, including the beasts, wild animals, "...and everything, both the minute and the magnificent, that manifested before our very eyes; we beheld it clearly ('ayanan) and doubted nothing of it. [We saw] all the Arab tribes, and the inhabitants of the cities and the villages, the ruins, the buildings, the trees, the fruits, the crops, the livestock, and the wildernesses. [We saw] the provinces within them, al-Yamama, Bahrain, and everything in between. All of this we discerned, verified, and confirmed, piece by piece, denying nothing, doubting nothing, and harboring no suspicion. All of this was contained within the courtyard of the Great Mosque of Kufa, never exceeding its walls.

The Himyarite and everyone present were struck with wonder. We were seized by a great awe and fell down in prostration—as did all the people of Iraq, their scholars, their companions, and their jurists. They watched all this in a state of bewildered amazement, prostrating and fainting. The Himyarite and his companions were in the same state. Then the Lord—Glorified be His Might—said: 'Raise your heads.'
