As for His saying: The Overseer (al-Muhaymin): I am the Overseer over them. As for His saying: The Exalted in Might (al-Aziz): I am the Mighty over them, and in their sight, 'Might' is the knowledge of me in my true reality—yet they know nothing of me except what their hearts can carry, what their eyes can behold, and what their intellects can bear.

As for His saying: The Compeller (al-Jabbar): I am the Compeller over them and in their presence, the Crusher of every stubborn tyrant, the Destroyer of every rebellious devil, and the Annihilator of every opponent and rival. As for His saying: The Superior (al-Mutakabbir): I am the Superior over every great one, the Humbler of every tyrant—outwardly and inwardly. Whoever acts proudly against Allah and His Messenger, I crush him, humble him, and manifest my superiority over him.

I am the Proof of the Prophets and the Manifestor of the Religion; the Helper; the one who makes poor; the one who brings death and gives life; the one who grants might and brings humiliation; the one who opens and closes; the one who raises up and brings down. I create, I provide, I fashion, and I know what is in the wombs as I will. I forgive, I pardon, I punish, I govern, I heal, I have mercy, I reward, I take account, I recompense, I deliver, and I conceal.
