And His saying: Knower of the unseen and the witnessed: I know the knowledge of fates (manaya), decrees (qadaya), and trials (balaya).

I know the past and the intimate, what was and what shall be, what is in the wombs, what is upon the face of the earth and its end, what is hidden in its layers and what it reveals, and what is in the seas and its depths. I know all the revealed Books, the Decisive Speech (fasl al-khitab), the genealogies, and what the clouds carry. I am the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful (al-Rahman al-Rahim). As for His saying: The Sovereign (al-Malik): I am the Sovereignty and the Owner of all affairs. As for His saying: The Pure (al-Quddus): Because I am the Sanctifier of the Holy (muqaddis al-quds); I am the one mentioned by every tongue and glorified in every language and at every time.

As for His saying: The Perfection/Peace (al-Salam): I am the Peace and unto me is the Submission (al-taslim), for it was to me that the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad—Glorified be His Might—submitted, and I am the one who received the submission from all the Prophets, for they delivered unto me the Seal of the Prophets. I am the one who took possession of all things.

As for His saying: The Bestower of Faith (al-Mu'min): I am the Bestower of Faith, and I am the Commander of the Faithful (Amir al-Mu'minin) and their security from every painful torment.
