This remains their state as long as they are in the human condition; their forms in the eyes of the "people of turbidity" (Ahl al-Kadar) and all the "people of mixture" (Ahl al-Mizaj) are human, but their souls are satanic. We shall investigate this thoroughly in the Chapter of Questions, if Allah the Exalted wills. So, gain insight and clarity from this obscure explanation of the words of our Lord Ja'far, the Lofty, the Most High, and his explicit declaration regarding the state of manifestation for whoever comprehends it and does not pass over it without understanding.

Ali Manifesting Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, and Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan to Ammar at Siffin

Among His miracles during the battle against the Kharijites: the manifestation of Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, and Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan. We have previously stated that we would entrust this book with these two reports from the Siffiniyyat (events of the Battle of Siffin) and the reports concerning the Kharijites. Although we [initially] intended to mention only one report of our Lord’s miracles at Siffin, I have seen fit to attach a second report of the miracles of our Lord—Mighty is His Power—at Siffin. I shall follow that with a report of the miracles of the Essence (al-Dhat) and what He displayed of indications during the fight against the Kharijites—Exalted is the Possessor of Sublimity and the Stairs of Ascent.
