"Indeed, Allah is greater than to be described with a face; rather, its meaning is that everything will be destroyed except His religion and the face [direction/portal] through which He is approached, and we are the face through which He is approached."
Reflect, then—may Allah protect you—upon the vast difference between the outward concept of the verse and its interpretation by the People of Infallibility. For "the Face" does not intend the well-known physical face, but rather intends the religion of Allah and the Imams of Guidance, glorified is their glory, for they are the Face of Allah through which He is approached.
And His, the Exalted's, saying to Iblis: {What prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My two hands?} 1 He, glorified is his glory, said: "Meaning: by My power."
