As for that which Satan has burdened you to know concerning that which is not made obligatory upon you in the Book, nor is its trace found in the traditions of the Prophet, glorified is his glory, and the Imams of guidance—leave its knowledge to Allah, glorified is He, for that is the ultimate limit of Allah's right upon you.

And know that those deeply rooted in knowledge (al-rasikhuna fi al-‘ilm) are those whom the affirmation of the sum total of what they remained ignorant of regarding the interpretation of the veiled unseen has enriched and saved from barging into the struck barriers before the unseen realms.

Thus, Allah praised their acknowledgment of incapacity to reach that which they could not encompass in knowledge, and He termed their abandonment of deep penetration into what He did not task them to search for regarding its core as deep-rootedness. Therefore, restrict yourself to that, and do not measure the greatness of Allah, glorified is He, according to the capacity of your intellect, lest you be among the perished.'"

Thus, our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, glorified is his glory, referred the questioner to the Holy Qur'an to recognize the attributes of Allah.
