yields the meaning of his negation of physical compositions and the human form.
Because the word (al-nasut) signifies human bodies and the human form. The proof of this is the saying of the Sheikh—Allah purified his person—in verse:
“The intellects of all creation possess no capability
To encompass Him whose humanity [nasut] became a dwelling.”
Sheikh Ibrahim Abd al-Latif said in his commentary: "Indeed, humanity (al-nasut) is used to express the form and the body." Thus, when the Sheikh negated humanity from the Creator, it is as though he negated from Him the form, the body, and all the instruments and limbs of the body.
And he—Allah purified his person—said in verse:
“He did not corporealize into a body that encompassed Him;
Exalted is the Guardian above the boundary of that which possesses limitations.”
The commentator said: "'Corporealize' means he appeared as a body, and 'boundary' means entering under limitations such as length, width, and depth, which are the three dimensions of every body."
