It is well known that the looker into a mirror only sees a form, while the Truth, majestic is His majesty, is transcendent above form, formalization, transition, and change. The looker to Him only sees his own attribute due to his incapacity and the fatigue of his sight. Thus, the Creator, glorified is He, according to the vision of our eyes, is a body like our bodies and a form like our forms, whereas in reality He is contrary to that. And there are many things that we see contrary to what they actually are in reality."

Just as the author of the book The Gnostic’s Proof, Allah sanctified him, said: "And we see among existents many things contrary to how they are. Among that is the mirage which we see at midday due to the intensity of the heat, so we do not doubt that it is water, yet it is not water. And we look at the sea, and we see as if the furthest point our sight lands upon is contiguous with the sky, yet it is contrary to that. And we look at the mountains while we are in a vast land, and we see them as if they are close to the sky, yet they are contrary to that. Likewise, we see the sun like a dirham, whereas it is much larger than that, and similarly the rest of the planets."
