so that He may speak to them and they may understand His command and His prohibition."

And it came in the epistle of The Necklaces of Pearls by Sheikh Husayn Ahmad, Allah sanctified him: "And human beings, even if they were to see Him luminously, they would not understand from light, nor would they deduce the way to His knowledge except from the human existence among what belongs to the teachings of the Masters, glorified is their glory, since a genus does not understand from what is contrary to its genus, so He was gracious to them, leaning with compassion upon them due to His knowledge of their weakness in attaining the knowledge of what is not of their genus; so He then drew near to their attributes, and that is from their aspect, not from His aspect."

And it came in Tadhkirat al-Arifin: "Is it permissible for a human being to send a beast or a bird to convey on his behalf his request or his commands?"

And the seventh reason: was for the affirmation of His existence, as the Sheikh, Allah purified his person, said: "And if He were not seen in the modality of bodies, forms, attributes, and instruments, existence would not have been affirmed, nor would ocular witnessing be correct."
