Our Master Abu Sa'id, Allah sanctified him, said: "So there was in His manifestation to creation like creation a wisdom and a compassion for him who knew Him, and a vengeance upon the denier."

And he, Allah sanctified him, said: "And He, the Exalted, has never ceased to appear, in all cycles and periods, with luminosity, and the universe was luministic; but when He clothed them, due to their halting and their doubt, in these human shirts, it became obligatory that He appear in the likeness of their forms as a kindness to them and a familiarization for them."

And it came in The Book of Admonition: "Since the appearance of the Meaning in His Essence became obligatory so that they would worship Him alone without a partner, because His absence is impossible just as His non-existence is impossible, it became obligatory in the divine wisdom that He appear to every genus like its genus, as a familiarization for the believers and a mystification upon the deniers."
