The scholar said in the commentary: "Meaning: He turns the hearts and the sights, so He shows you the fire of existence, unveiled in light, in the waters of that filled sea."

And he also said:

My sight showed me the light as fire, and the forenoon

As night, and within my direction the encompasser of my directions

It came in the commentary: "My sight showed me the light as fire as an indication of its turning, for the cause is within it, not within the viewed object.

And our Master Abu Sa'id, Allah sanctified him, said in Book of the Proofs: "And His appearance in the Muhammadan dome as an un-haired, pot-bellied one, which is the form that has not changed in every cycle and period, nor time, nor moment, but rather the sights and the hearts turned."

And the author of Book of the Divestment, Allah sanctified him, said: "The Creator shows His creation His Essence as He wills without cessation, nor transition from state to state, but rather He turns the hearts of creation and their sights with what He wills, however He wills."
