and it is the cause concerning which it is said: The origin of the cause is in the effect"
And the third reason: is the turning of the hearts and the sights, for the Creator, glorified is He, turned the hearts and the sights in His vision, by the evidence of His, the Exalted's, saying: {And We will turn their hearts and their sights just as they refused to believe in it the first time} 1
And al-Makzun, Allah sanctified him, said:
The turning of the sights of mortals and their hearts
When You conceal Yourself after appearance with an absence
The scholar said in the commentary: "The turning of the sights of mortals meaning: their transformation from their aspects and their showing the thing contrary to what it is upon."
And al-Makzun also said:
And the sorcerer of the eyelids shows you a fire
In the waters of the seas increasing in burning
