iḥāṭah); yet He, glorified is He, is witnessed and visible, seen by everyone according to the measure of their capacity.
Fourteenth: That we know that He, glorified is He, possesses names exclusive to Him, and it is impermissible for anyone else to be named by them, such as: "The One (Aḥad), the Singular (Fard), the Eternal Refuge (Ṣamad), the Pre-Eternal (Azal), the Meaning of Meanings (Ma‘na al-Ma‘ānī), the God of gods (Ilāh al-Ālihah), the Lord of Lords (Rabb al-Arbāb), the Goal of Goals (Ghāyat al-Ghāyāt)," and others.
Fifteenth: That we know that He, glorified is He, has manifested to the world of light through light, and to the world of mortals as a mortal across seven essential Stations (maqāmāt dhātiyyah) extending from the letter Hā’ to the letter ‘Ayn, without restricting or prohibiting His manifestation in other than them; for He manifests whenever He wills, however He wills.
This, then, is what faith obligates upon us regarding the recognition of Allah, glorified and exalted is He.
