And regarding the statement of our Master, the Prince of the Faithful, glorified is his glory: “I am the Signpost and the Path of the Resurrection.”

It is stated in Al-Uṣayfir:

“This is a proof that whosoever strikes the correct pointing toward the Imams and recognizes the indications, his temperament becomes balanced, his path becomes sound, and his lamp illuminates within the darkness.”

It is stated in Al-Tajrīd:

“It is impermissible to point with deification (al-ta’alluh) except toward the Pre-Eternal, Primordial Essence (al-Ma‘na), the Creator of creation; and 'There is no god but Allah' is not attributed except to the Outward and Inward Essence (al-‘Ayn), which is our Master, the Hairline-Receding and Full (al-Anza‘ al-Baṭīn).”

It is stated in Al-Raddādiyyah:

“The Pre-Eternal Essence cannot be pointed toward except via the visible Form, because It is the very essence of the Divine Essence; It is He—yet He is not It.”
