Sheikh Sulayman al-Ahmad, Allah sanctified his secret, stated:
“The negation of the form, alongside the affirmation of the existence of the One manifest through it via divine Power, is the very essence of monotheism (‘ayn al-tawḥīd).”
And al-Raddād, Allah sanctified his secret, stated:
“The Creator merely causes a form to be perceived, and the defect lies within the creation, not within Him. For had the Creator been a physical person in His own Essence in objective reality, the eyes and hearts of creation would not have fluctuated or altered; rather, He would be the One altering and fluctuating—and I seek refuge in Allah from such an assertion.”
And our Master Abu Sa‘id, Allah sanctified his secret, stated in Al-Najḥiyyah:
"And you must recognize Ali the Outward manifestation, while negating from Him whatever you perceive of delineations, forms, and limitation; and you must be firmly certain that there flows not upon His Essence that which He Himself caused to flow, nor does there originate within His Essence that which He Himself brought into inception."
