"Indeed, that God whom I call you to recognize, believe in, and worship possesses specific attributes that distinguish Him from the rest of His creation."
Among these are the raising of the dead, the returning of the sun, and the Five Tokens (al-Amārāt al-Khams) which the Holy Qur'an mentions in the statement of He, the Exalted:
{Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.} 1
Accordingly, when the people witnessed these tokens, attributes, and earthly and heavenly miracles manifesting from a man present among them, they knew that He was that very God whom the prophets were calling toward and pointing out. This was especially so when they heard Him, through His own Essence, calling to Himself and declaring from atop the pulpits of His Majesty: "I did, I fashioned, I am I," to the extent that He left no matter except that He said: "I did it, and I fashioned it."
