Sayyid al-Makzun has clarified and explained this by his saying, Allah sanctified him: "Manifestation is the lifting of the veil of darkness from the sight of the beholder."
And the most glorious scholar, Sheikh Sulayman al-Ahmad, Allah sanctified him, said: "When the Creator wills to bring creation into existence, He presents His Essence to them, so He uncovers their sights."
And Sheikh Kamil Salih Ma'ruf, Allah sanctified him, said in Al-Saha'if: "Manifestation is like appearance; both are other than the Manifesting One and other than the Appearing One, and they are, according to the opinion of Sheikh Abu Abdullah, the uncovering of the sights to witness from the Essence of the Manifesting One according to their capacity and the purity of their essential nature. Thus, in the world of light, when He brought His Essence into existence for them, He enabled them to look at Him and witness Him in the form that is homogeneous to their being, so each of them saw Him according to his desert and his knowledge of Him, and the meaning of this is not that He was absent and then became present, nor interior and then became manifest,
