Similarly, were it not for the light and the radiance—which are two attributes belonging to Him—the Creator would not exist to plain sight.

And he, Allah sanctified his secret, also said:

"Therefore, if it is said: 'He, the Exalted, manifests through His Essence like unto the attributes of His created beings,' this does not mean that He is the attributes of the created beings. Rather, it means that the manifest Entity is the substance itself, and it is that which is perceived via the reality of the Pre-Eternal Essence (al-Ma‘na al-Qadīm), yet appearing like unto the attributes of mortals."
