...nothing else. He merely applied the term 'Form' (al-Ṣūrah) to it due to its sharing a baseline likeness with forms.
Furthermore, it is our own elemental defect that made us perceive Allah, glorified is He, as eating and drinking, exactly as your Eminence has mentioned. And when it is transmitted from the philosophers of monotheism that the elite of the elite (khawāṣṣ al-khawāṣṣ) declare Him transcendent above form and formalization (al-taṣwīr), the weak among the people of this Household mistakenly delude themselves into thinking that they are declaring Him transcendent above the hairline-receding Form (al-Ṣūrah al-Anza‘iyyah)—which is the ultimate, universal Goal. That is a grave, fatal error.
Rather, they only intended that the Essence (al-Ma‘na), glorified is He, has never ceased being manifestly unveiled before the people of His elite; they are not veiled from Him by a towering mountain or a lofty peak. That is the spiritual degree of the people of direct witnessing and plain sight (ahl al-shuhūd wa-al-‘iyān),
