And it is known that the Creator, glorified is He, manifested Himself to the world of souls in the first primordial realm before the world of bodies and addressed them orally by His, the Exalted's, saying: {Am I not your Lord?} So he who answered, answered, and he who denied, denied, and the descent of the souls occurred due to their objection to the divine command, their accusation of the Lord of doing what is not obligatory, and their self-purification, as is explained in the books of the unitarians.

And after their descent to the world of sense and witnessing, their Creator manifested Himself to them in fulfillment of His true promise in the precise text of His Book by His, the Exalted's, saying: {We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance—there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve."} ¹ And what is intended by the guidance mentioned in the noble verse is the manifestation of the Creator to His servants in the seven essential domes from our master Abel to our master the Prince of the Believers, glorified is his glory, without limitation to His, the Exalted's, appearances.
