He displayed to us that He stands in need of the Messenger, glorified is his glory.

He displayed to us the submission to the allegiance of Abu Bakr, Allah curse him.

This spans all the way to similar matters that are nothing but imagination upon imagination, anthropomorphism upon anthropomorphism, and exemplification upon exemplification, possessing no reality in objective fact. Likewise, all the forms, shapes, structures, conditions, and states that are perceived within the manifestations of the Essence in the earth and the heavens are entirely from the side of the watching eyes, not from the side of the Essence. For this reason, they must be negated, and the Creator, glorified is He, must be declared transcendent above them.

If an objector should challenge us, saying: "Does your negation of the human form—through which the Creator manifested to mortals like a mortal—not constitute a negation of an essential principle among the principles of our noble doctrine, namely: 'The Creator, glorified is He, manifested to every genre like unto its own genre,' a principle to which we all subscribe?
