Spanning all the way from the Nearest Mosque to the Farthest Mosque.”
The Allamah said in commentary upon these two verses:
"The dream-phantom of Lamya (ṭayf Lamyā’) is her imagination, which is an expression for the coming guidance that was promised to the believers. The imagination (al-khayāl) is the dream-like phantom, or everything that presents a semblance to you—whether in wakefulness or a dream—by way of a physical form."
And al-Makzun also said in verse:
“And I attained certainty that the subtle grace from her brought her near,
As an imagination to my eye during sleep after my slumber.”
The Allamah, Allah sanctified his secret, said: "‘I attained certainty’: meaning I knew and verified that out of her subtle grace and compassion, she manifested through the imaginative form. And the imagination (al-khayāl) is a form that presents itself during sleep."
