Therefore, there are matters they manifested as an imagination within the eyes alone; for this reason, they possess no corresponding likeness within the world of witness.

And Sheikh Abd al-Hadi Haydar, Allah sanctified his secret, was asked concerning the progeny of the Prophets and the People of Infallibility (Ahl al-‘Iṣmah), including the Counter-Agents (al-aḍdād) such as al-Abbas and others. Part of his reply, Allah sanctified his secret, was:

"What compels us to say that they are the biological children of the People of Infallibility from their loins, when there are no loins there, nor any wombs? This is so despite the clarity of the ultimate proof and the plain exposition of the pathway for everyone whose heart Allah has grasped and whom He has rightly guided toward the recognition of his Lord and has entered this pure Household, and has transcended his Master and the realms of His holiness above occupying these elements?! And how can this matter become confused for him after his own acknowledgment that He, glorified is He, alters the hearts and the sights, and displayed to them a form by which He resembled mortals;
