"No. He merely alters the sight of creation so that they perceive Him like unto their own forms."

And al-Makzun, Allah sanctified his secret, said in verse:

“And I denied concerning Layla her occupying a physical garment [ḥullah],

Whose departure from us is driven by the mounts of death.”

The Allamah said in his commentary:

"He negates within this verse from her physical form (al-ṣūrah), formal configuration (al-taṣwīr), transition, and transformation, even if she manifested a likeness."

And al-Makzun also said in verse:

“And other than You is that which appears to him,

So he goes absent during the state of witnessing.”

It came in a commentary by the Allamah:

"And the Truth, majestic is His praise, is transcended above physical form and formal configuration."

And al-Makzun also said:

“I efface [amḥū] that which I affirmed of her beauty,

And I witness the true affirmation through effacement.”
