above being a physical body or having the instruments of physical bodies, they likewise transcended Him, glorified is He, above the human form and its conditions. For He who possesses no body like other bodies possesses no form like other forms.

Our Master as-Sadiq, glorified is his glory, said:

"Verily, one only proceeds toward the recognition of Allah by means of the veil of Allah. Yet, when He brings forth miracles, belief in the veil becomes void; because the veil consists of the sins of the servants."

"Whosoever negates what he saw, affirms what he knew, and worships what was found, has indeed attained the utmost pinnacle of monotheism."

It was said to him: "So what do we negate? What do we affirm? And whom do we worship?"

He, glorified is his glory, said: "Whosoever negates what he saw of the human form, affirms what he knew of Lordly powers, and worships the Manifest through that mighty power—those are the true companions of the Commander of the Faithful."
